Thao is a dedicated teacher who has been part of the team at TSSM since 2023.

Thao brings life to any presentation that she takes with her enthusiasm for Biology and Chemistry. With a specialised degree in science focusing on anatomy, physiology and biochemistry, Thao is able to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the content helping them to maximise their study scores.

Thao plays an important role at TSSM, being part of our writing and presenting team, developing exceptional VCE resources that are used by thousands of students and teachers alike.

Teaching Philosophy:

Thao’s philosophy in teaching is ensuring that her students are able to make real connections with the world around them and find relevance and importance in what they learn. Her lifelong love for Science stemmed from her amazing high school science teachers who were able to build relevance of what they taught to her interests and how she perceived Science personally. Today, Thao often finds herself still remembering and making connections to what they’ve taught her and she wants nothing more than to be able to instil that in her students.

Interests:

Thao is a foodie and a traveller. She loves to travel overseas or interstate to experience different cuisines, cities, cultures and sceneries.
Thao loves to meet new people and try new things. When she is not travelling, she loves to explore Melbourne’s food scene - there’s always something new to try!
