Students will develop a detailed knowledge of all Unit 1 Areas of Study including; How do the chemical structures of materials explain their properties and reactions?; How are materials quantified and classified? and How can chemical principles be applied to create a more sustainable future?
Students will develop a detailed knowledge of all Unit 3 Areas of Study including; What are the current and future options for supplying energy?; and How can the rate and yield of chemical reactions be optimised?
Students will receive intense instruction on all Unit 1 Areas of Study including; How do the chemical structures of materials explain their properties and reactions?; How are materials quantified and classified? and How can chemical principles be applied to create a more sustainable future?
Students will receive intense instruction on all Unit 3 Areas of Study including; What are the options for energy production?; and How can the yield of a chemical product be optimised?
Students will achieve a clear understanding of all Unit 2 Areas of Study including; How do chemicals interact with water? How are chemicals measured and analysed? and How do quantitative scientific investigations develop our understanding of chemical reactions?
Students will gain an extensive Revision and Consolidation of all Unit 3 Areas of Study including: What are the current and future options for supplying energy?; and How can the rate and yield of chemical reactions be optimised? & a Head Start on How are organic compounds categorised and synthesised?; How are organic compounds analysed and used?; and How is scientific inquiry used to investigate the sustainable production of energy and/or materials?
Students will develop a thorough understanding of all Unit 2 Areas of Study including; How do chemicals interact with water?; How are chemicals measured and analysed?; and How do quantitative scientific investigations develop our understanding of chemical reactions?
Students will receive intense instruction on all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study including; What are the current and future options for supplying energy?; How can the rate and yield of a chemical product be optimised?; How are organic compounds categorised and synthesised?; How are organic compounds analysed and used?; and How is scientific inquiry used to investigate the sustainable production of energy and/or materials?
In addition to the Chemistry September Holiday Program these classes offer students the benefit of specific instruction on the most critical, difficult and highly probable applications and extension questions that are essential for achieving the elite scores for each subject.
