Mathew has been part of the TSSM team since 2021.

His experience and dedication to his students is evident through his tireless efforts to help students stimulate their learning and maximise their subject knowledge. Mathew is extremely enthusiastic as a VCE Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics teacher with a genuine interest in helping his students achieve their absolute best.

At TSSM Mathew is a brilliant teacher who excels in presenting exam preparation programs and writing the highest quality VCE resources for thousands of students and teachers alike.


Teaching Philosophy:


Mathew's goal as a teacher is to give his students tools to express themselves through the creative medium of Mathematics, despite the fact that it often has a reputation as a sterile activity that solely involves memorising formulas and answering repetitive questions.

Mathew wants students of all backgrounds to understand and engage with Mathematics using their own perspective and to develop their own mathematical voice, that is, their awareness of and ability to articulate their own points of view and problem-solving tendencies.
