Role at TSSM:

Paul has been part of the TSSM team since 2019.

He is a determined Further Mathematics teacher who ensures that each students fully understands the intricate details of the study design in order to maximise their examination results.

Paul is an enthusiastic teacher who loves to teach and enjoys seeing his students excel in their VCE.

At TSSM Paul plays a valuable and important role in presenting courses and developing excellent resources used by teachers and students alike.

Teaching Philosophy:

In Paul's view the purpose of schooling is two-fold.

The first aim of schooling is to get students to a point where they are ready to become independent and purposeful members of society. Educating them in the key learning areas, as well as developing their personal, social and cultural skills is very important. For students, the learning journey does not finish at the end of secondary school.

The second main purpose for schooling is to prepare students for the next stage of their education or career, whether that is University, TAFE, a traineeship/cadetship, apprenticeship or some other form of formal education/employment.

Interests:

Basketball, cycling and walking.
Reading, watching movies and music (listening to and going to watch live music).
