Role at TSSM:

Melissa has been part of TSSM’s HSIE team since 2025.

Melissa has been teaching since 2020. She is extremely knowledgeable, which gives her the ability to simplify difficult topics helping her students achieve exceptional results throughout their journey.

Her experience in teaching has provided her with the chance to quickly develop as a HSIE teacher, leading her students towards impressive scores.

Melissa is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve her teaching abilities so her students can continue to excel.

At TSSM, Melissa also plays an important role in producing high quality resources in Studies of Religion I & II, Society & Culture, and Modern History.


Teaching Philosophy:

Melissa believes that every student is capable of growth when learning is intentionally scaffolded, explicit, and meaningful. Her teaching connects curriculum to real-world contexts, building student confidence, agency, and the skills needed to thrive both academically and beyond school.
