Role at TSSM:

David has been part of TSSM’s Humanities team since 2026.

David has been teaching since 2016. He is extremely knowledgeable, which gives him the ability to simplify difficult topics helping his students achieve exceptional results throughout their journey.

His experience in teaching has provided his with the chance to quickly develop as a Humanities teacher, leading his students towards impressive scores.

David is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve his teaching abilities so his students can continue to excel.

At TSSM, David also plays an important role in producing high quality resources in Modern History, Ancient History and Geography.

Teaching Philosophy:

David’s teaching philosophy is student centred and evidence informed, drawing on Dylan Wiliam’s formative assessment principles to make learning goals visible, feedback actionable, and progress continuous. Students can expect collaborative learning routines—such as think pair share, structured group tasks, and peer assessment—that deliberately cultivate problem solving and decision making.
