Catherine has been part of TSSM’s Humanities team since 2026.

Catherine has been teaching since 2010. She is extremely knowledgeable, which gives her the ability to simplify difficult topics helping her students achieve exceptional results throughout their journey.

Her experience in teaching has provided her with the chance to quickly develop as a Humanities teacher, leading her students towards impressive scores.

Catherine is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve her teaching abilities so her students can continue to excel.

At TSSM, Catherine also plays an important role in producing high quality resources in Legal Studies.

Teaching Philosophy:

Catherine brings a practitioner’s perspective to the classroom, drawing on her background as a lawyer to make learning practical, relevant, and grounded in real-world contexts. Her teaching prioritises active participation, critical thinking, and applied problem-solving, using authentic scenarios to challenge students to engage, question, and have a go. She believes students learn best when they feel supported to think independently and connect theory to lived experience.

Spending time with family, including my four-legged children
