Alastair has been part of TSSM’s humanities team since 2025. He is an extremely passionate teacher who enjoys seeing his students achieve their learning outcomes while scoring impressive study scores.

Alastair has taught senior history since 2012, giving him extensive experience in the subject and also giving him specific fundamentals that he utilises to engage the students with the concepts of the subject in a simplified form, being able to aid with their understanding come exam time.

Alastair is a motivated teacher who makes use of available resources to enhance and improve his teaching abilities so his students can continue to excel.

Alastair also plays an important role in producing high quality VCE resources used by many teachers and students in History: Revolutions and Business Management for TSSM.

Teaching Philosophy:

Alastair passionately believes in making Humanities subjects accessible to students from all different learning abilities and backgrounds. He breaks content down to make it manageable and enjoyable for students to learn and supports students so that they can feel success.
