Maths Methods Unit 1 - The 'Advantage 8+' Classes - Intensive Weekly Tutorials

Description:

Students will be given a full revision on all Unit 1 Areas of Study including; Functions and Graphs; Algebra; Calculus (including Rates of Change); and Probability and statistics.

Each weekly tutorial class addresses the finer details of the VCAA Study Design. This ensures that students receive the most in depth examination preparation possible.  Weekly sessions run for 3 hours and will thoroughly revise all examinable Areas of Study in Unit 1 Maths Methods. 

Each week our expert teachers will encourage students to ask questions to clarify any area that require more attention.  Our teachers will systematically and comprehensively review the weekly content, examination style questions and any School-assessed Coursework that the students need to go over.

Additional Classes and Class Time!

Each student will have as much time as they need to receive a comprehensive exam preparation of Unit 1 or Unit 3 content.  TSSM is committed to offering as many additional classes as required and we will extend class times when students require extra contact time with our expert teachers.  

Repeat Classes

In addition students will have the opportunity to attend repeat classes as required. This is helpful when students need more instruction on a particular concept or topic.

Add 'Extension 13' Classes (an additional 13 hours):

Students wanting the most extensive course available for Maths Methods are encouraged to enrol into the 'Advantage 8+' AND 'Extension 13' Classes. This additional 13 hours of tuition time with our expert VCE teachers, given by adding the 'Extension 13' classes, will include:

• FREE Subject Specific Exam Revision Day (9 hours)
• Subject Mastery and Consolidation Session (4 hours)

Total Length of Program:

A minimum of 33 hrs

'Maximise your ATAR' - Strategies for Success Seminar (7 hours)

Weeks 1 to 8 are 3 hours each (24 hours)

'Conquer the Exams' - Strategies for exam success seminar (2 hours)

Students will be provided with a 15 minute break period during each of the 8 weeks of the 3 hour weekly tutorial classes

**Tutorial Classes will not run during the Easter Holidays between April 8th and April 22nd 2019
