1. One-to-one Interaction:
   We limit our class sizes to 40 students per class to ensure that there is adequate interaction between student and presenter; and they're not held in auditoriums!.
   
   
2. Isolating Difficulty Areas- Exclusive to TSSM:
   Students will complete a 50 question quiz for each subject, targeting critical topics in preparation for Unit 2 studies.  The answers are supplied upon completion.

   Students will receive a head start on Unit 2 and enhance their problem solving skills in preparation for the semester.
   
   
4. Unit 4 Sample SACs and Examination Style Questions:
   Students will gain practice in solving sample SAC and exam style questions for each subject.

English - Unit 2

This is an essay writing workshop that will focus on building and improving essay writing skills in preparation for Unit 2 studies. Students will be encouraged to develop a practical understanding of all Unit 2 Areas of Study including; Reading and responding; Creating and presenting; and Using Language to Persuade. Mathematical Methods (CAS) - Unit 2

Students will develop a thorough understanding of all Unit 4 Areas of Study including; Functions and graphs, Algebra, Rates of change and calculus (including differential and anti-differential) , and Probability. Please select Wednesday July 8, 2009 (3pm-8pm)

Students will achieve a clear understanding of all Unit 2 Areas of Study under the new study design including; Motion; Wave-like properties of light; and Detailed Study (either; 'Investigations: Flight'; 'Investigations: Sustainable energy sources'; or 'Medical physics').
