These Targeted Evaluation Tasks are prepared for schools to specifically address the VCAA's requirements for School-assessed Coursework. Our adherence to these requirements means that tasks are designed to target key areas of the curriculum commonly assessed by schools as part of the coursework component for Units 3 and 4. Schools are provided with a variety of different tasks for each Unit, allowing teachers the flexibility to select the most appropriate forms of assessment for their students.
These Targeted Evaluation Tasks are available exclusively to schools. Students are not permitted to order these tasks. TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of the Targeted Evaluation Tasks, however prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.
- Targeted Evaluation Tasks are prepared by senior VCE teachers consisting of VCE assessors, state reviewers and published authors with ample experience in setting and marking School-assessed Coursework.
- All Targeted Evaluation Tasks are supplied with fully worked solutions or response guides (where solutions are not possible) and a marking guide.
- Targeted Evaluation Tasks are delivered within 5 working days of the order upon release. Units 1 and 3 on February 10, 2012 and Units 2 and 4 on May 16, 2012.
