Our Psychology Targeted Evaluation Tasks are the collaborated efforts of three experienced VCE Psychology teachers, all of whom are Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format.  A variety of tasks are available across Units 3 and 4.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Psychology Targeted Evaluation Tasks are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks are designed to target key areas under the Study Design for Psychology.  These tasks provide schools with a number of options for assessing the coursework component of Unit 3 and 4 Psychology.  All tasks are supplied with full solutions.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks for Psychology have been prepared for both Unit 3 and 4.  The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 3 Package includes 9 tasks -  

Outcomes 1, 2 and 3 for Areas of Study 1, 2 and 3 (Three options for each included):

1. Essay

2. Empirical research activity 

3. Test (multiple choice, short answer and extended response)

Unit 4 Package includes 9 tasks - 

Outcomes 1 and 2 for Areas of Study 1 and 2 (Three options for each included):

1. Essay

2. Test (multiple choice, short answer and extended response)

3. Research investigation  

& Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3 (Two options included):

1. Essay 

2. Test (multiple choice, short answer and extended response)

These packages are provided to schools giving teachers a degree of flexibility in the assessment tasks they set for their students.  While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks, prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.
