Our Physics Targeted Evaluation Tasks are the collaborated efforts of two experienced VCE Physics teachers. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for Units 3 and 4.

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Physics Targeted Evaluation Tasks are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks are prepared for schools to address the key assessment areas of the Physics curriculum, providing schools with a valuable resource for assessing both the Core and Detailed Studies specified within the VCAA Study Design for Physics.  All tasks are supplied with full solutions.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks for Physics have been prepared for both Unit 3 and 4.  The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 3 Package includes 12 tasks -  

Outcomes 1 and 2 For Areas of Study 1 and 2 (Three options for each included):

3. Student designed extended practical investigation with at least two independent, continuous variables

& Outcomes 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 (Two options for each included):

Unit 4 Package includes 10 tasks - 

Outcomes 1, 2, 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 for Areas of Study 1, 2, 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 (Two options for each included):

These packages are provided to schools giving teachers a degree of flexibility in the assessment tasks they set for their students.  While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks, prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.
