Role at TSSM:

Helen has been a valued member of the TSSM team since 2006, presenting and preparing material for both Legal Studies and Business Management.  Helen's attention to detail and knowledge across both subject areas is consistently reflected in the material she prepares for the company.  Her engaging and interactive teaching style coupled with her friendly and approachable nature have helped countless students achieve excellent results in their final examinations.

Teaching Philosophy:

Helens lifelong journey and commitment to secondary education is sharing the passion for learning with the students that she teaches and her colleagues. It is about developing their social and employability skills, as well as instilling a confidence in each of them to go on and seek their own destiny. 

Publications:

Helen has prepared material for COMVIEW on VCAL work related skills as well as material for VET Business Administration Certificate II

She is an educational consultant for VEA who produce a range of education DVD's for schools and TAFE's.

Helen has also been nominated for the ASG Inspirational Teacher Award for 2008

In 2010 she was one of ten teachers in the state who received an Inspirational Teacher Award through the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
