Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and responding; Creating and presenting; and Using Language to Persuade.

This four and a half hour session on the context The Imaginative Landscape will focus on section B of the English exam, Writing in Context. This component is worth one-third of the total assessment for the examination and therefore attending this component is critical. 

In addressing the context, this session will make detailed reference to the following four texts:

• Tirra Lirra by the River 
• The Poetry of Robert Frost 
• Island 
• One Night the Moon
