Our Accounting Targeted Evaluation Tasks are the collaborated efforts of two experienced VCE teachers, both of whom are Exam Assessors. These tasks are available exclusively to schools and are available in electronic or hardcopy format. A variety of tasks are available for Units 1 and 2. 

Students are not permitted to order these tasks.

The Accounting Targeted Evaluation Tasks are offered to schools copyright free for the restricted use of students of that school only.

TSSM's Targeted Evaluation Tasks are designed to target the key areas of the recently changed Study Design for Accounting.  These tasks are a valuable resource with which to assess the coursework components of Unit 1 and 2 Accounting.  All tasks are supplied with full solutions.

Targeted Evaluation Tasks for Accounting have been prepared for both Unit 1 and 2.  The following packages are available to schools:

Unit 1 Package includes 4 tasks -  

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (One option included):

1. Case study on Going into business

& Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (Three options included):

1. Test on recording accounting data

2. Test on Record keeping and internal control including bank reconciliation

3. Test on reports

Unit 2 Package includes 5 tasks - 

Outcome 1 for Area of Study 1 (Three options included):

1. Test on recording and reporting balance day adjustments

2. Test on recording and reporting stock movements

3. Test on Accounting Reports

& Outcome 2 for Area of Study 2 (One option included): 

1. An exercise for ans accounting software package

& Outcome 3 for Area of Study 3 (One option included): 

1. Case study on Evaluation of business performance

These tasks provide teachers with a degree of flexiblity when setting assessment tasks for their students.  While TSSM thoroughly checks the accuracy and relevance of these Targeted Evaluation Tasks, prior to assessing students, it is the individual school's responsibility to ensure that these are an appropriate form of assessment.
